The Rosenbaum
Yeshiva of North Jersey’s Lori K. Okoskin Parnas Hayom program allows
grandparents, parents and friends of the yeshiva to dedicate a day of
learning at YNJ in memory of, honor of, or in the zchus of a refuah
shelaima for a loved one.
A beautiful Parnas Hayom board hangs in the entry hall of the yeshiva.
Each week’s dedications are prominently displayed on the board and appear
in the school’s weekly newsletter. Dedications are announced at morning
tefila so that the children will know for whom their learning is
dedicated.
A day of learning may be dedicated on the occasion of a yahrzeit, in the
zchus of a refuah shelaima, in honor of a simcha, a birthday or any
occasion that you wish to recognize.
There are two ways to participate in the Parnas Hayom program.
1) Daily Dedication: Minimum Contribution of $100
Learning will be dedicated on the day of your choice. A plaque will be
displayed on the Parnas Hayom board throughout the week of the dedication.
2) Permanent Dedication: Minimum Contribution of $1000
Learning will be dedicated every year on the date you provide. A permanent
engraved plaque will be made and will be displayed each year during the
week of the dedication. Permanent dedications are a wonderful way to mark
the occasion of a yahrzeit.
Please consider supporting the Yeshiva by taking part in this very
