Appearances by local rabbinic leaders, visits to Yeshivos Gedolos and meetings with G'dolei Torah further enhance the respect for Torah leadership which is an essential quality of each generation in the eternal journey of the Jewish people.

A Link in the Chain.  The mishna in Avos teaches that the Torah is acquired by fulfilling 48 criteria. One such criterion is hamakir es mekomo, recognizing one's place. Crucial to their growth as Jews, is the recognition by our children of their place in the mesorah, the great chain of Jewish tradition. Through the study of the Holocaust, the students gain an appreciation of previous generations and an understanding of their responsibility to future generations.
