Charged with the sacred responsibility of fostering the intellectual, spiritual, and social growth of Jewish children in the suburban communities of northern New Jersey, YNJ presents a vibrant learning atmosphere that is founded upon timeless Torah values and knowledge.

That atmosphere provides the Yeshiva's students with clear and consistent messages of ethical conduct, modesty, selflessness and service of the Divine Will - messages which are often ignored, even belittled, in contemporary society. To create this Torah environment, the Yeshiva is firmly committed to those educational concepts that have served as the cornerstones of all great traditional institutions of Jewish learning.

Primacy of Torah.  The Yeshiva continually emphasizes that the highest form of human endeavor is the study of Torah. The beautiful sounds of Torah learning reverberate throughout the school's hallways as enthusiastic teachers impart words of Torah to responsive and motivated students. The world view created by the study of Torah directs the future attitudes and endeavors of the student, who learns to see the world through the prism of Torah.
